Middle Eastern Lamb Burger

Ingredients

  • 4 x Angel Bay Gourmet Lamb Burger Patties
  • 125 g tzatziki
  • 100 g feta crumbled
  • 4 burger buns (we like grainy buns from the bakery dept)
  • ⅓ cucumber finely sliced
  • ½ red onion finely sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (can use 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (can use 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 2 handfuls baby spinach leaves

Serves 4

Method

  1. Cook the patties according to packet instructions.

  2. Cook the patties according to packet instructions.

  4. Spread the base of each bun with tzatziki and then a pattie, cucumber slices, a little red onion, a sprinkle of dill and mint and then spinach.

  5. Spread the inside of the bun lid with the remaining tzatziki and pop on top of the burger. Serve.

  6. Chef's tip: If you want to make your own tzatziki, combine 1 C natural yoghurt unsweetened yoghurt in a small bowl with 1 clove of crushed garlic, a little extra virgin olive oil, 1 tsp red wine vinegar, chopped fresh dill and grated cucumber. Season with salt to taste. If making homemade then there is no need to add extra dill.
