Epic Double Cheese Burger

Ingredients

  • 4 x Angel Bay Smoky, Tangy, Cheesy Beef Patties
  • 8 x Rashes of crispy bacon
  • 4 x Brioche Burger buns
  • 4 x Cheese Slices
  •   
  • Courgette Pickles
  • 2 x Courgettes
  • 100ml White Wine Vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • Pinch Tumeric
  • Pinch Mustard Powder
  •   
  • Burger Sauce
  • 150g Mayonnaise
  • 25g American Mustard
  • 20g Tomato Ketchup or Sauce
  • 20g Sweet Gherkins, finely chopped
  • Splash of Pickle Juice
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Splash of White Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika

Serves 4

Method

  1. Cook the Angel Bay Smoky, Tangy & Cheesy Beef Patties according to the instructions on pack.

  2. Cook the bacon until crispy.

  3. To make the courgette pickle, cut the courgettes into thin long strips using a peeler.

  4. Dissolve the sugar in the vinegar and bring to the boil, remove from the heat and stir through the turmeric and mustard powder then add in the courgette and set aside to cool.

  5. To make the burger sauce, mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

  6. Assembly time, place a spoon of burger sauce on the bottom bun, then layer it up with the courgette, bacon, cheese and patty. Then top with a little more sauce. Enjoy!
